Extruding
Letbæk Plast has good production facilities. For instance we have a wide range of different extruding machines. So on the whole we offer all forms of extruding. We produce in many different types of material, both new and regenerated articles, dependent on the customer’s requirements and specifications.
Our core powers regarding extruding are within the product categories: Pipes, tubes, sections, plates, and various types of foil.
Die Casting
Furthermore Letbæk Plast offers die casting of technical articles. Compared to other suppliers in the market we differ by our innovative participation in problem solutions, product development, and design. Our knowhow and agelong experience guarantee the customer the best solution. We also offer total service and production in our own facilities. From tool manufacture in our own department, over production, to stock.
We die cast in i.a. the following types of material: PEH, PEL, PP, PVC, ABS, PS, PC, POM, TPE, TPU, PA etc.
Foil Blowing
Letbæk Plast delivers both pipe foil, plane foil, side-cut foil, bags, and sacks. We produce mainly in polyethylene (PE, PELD, PELLD).
In our foil department we have extruders making pipe foil in widths from 100 mm to 1400 mm; side-cut foil, however, up to 2800 mm.
The department has bottom welder and side welder, and we are able to weld bags from a width of 100 mm to 1400 mm without fold, and of course more with fold.
Furthermore we can offer microperforation, length welding, treatment, and printing.
Microperforation: Small holes pricked in the foil to let out the air.
Treatment: The surface of PE foil complicates fastening of printing ink, adhesive tape or labels. The foil can be treated to make fastening easier.
Length welding: Welding of foil in longitudinal direction. This makes production of e.g. bags with two separate partitions possible.
Printing: It is possible for us to print text and logo on pipe foil, plane foil, bags, and sacks. We produce marking tape in widths from 25 mm to 600 mm and thicknesses from 0.08 mm to 0.3 mm.
Pressure Casting
Letbæk Plast has established a separate department for pressure casting of articles made from recycled plastic. During more than 20 years Letbæk Plast has developed this kind of production, where Letbæk Plast has constructed both production equipment and moulds for tools in our own facilities. We manufacture products for many different fields within industry and agriculture as well as building and construction.
Without doubt the most well-known are our feet for bar equipment placed all over Denmark where it is necessary to make roadmaking etc. visible. The materials used in this department are preferably recycled plastic, where Letbæk Plast has developed great competence in mixing various types in order to consider the environment in every respect.
